Summary
Antibody hydrophobicity and polyreactivity sometimes correlate, but that varies between datasets (1,2).
Details
In B cell-derived mAbs analyzed by Shehata et al., HIC retention time and PSR score were only weakly coupled (). A larger human-antibody study instead found that heavy-chain CDR hydrophobicity and positive charge were associated with polyreactivity (2).
